• Ultrasonic Wound Therapy

    Ultrasonic Wound Therapy

The Debriflo ~ UWI Ultrasonic Wound Therapy System mixes ultrasonic energy for selective dissection and fragmentation of tissue, wound debridement (acute and chronic wounds, burns, diseased and necrotic tissue) and utilising cleansing saline irrigation at the site for the removal of debris, exudate, fragments and other matter.  Not only does the UWI Ultrasound Wound Therapy System provide a superior debriding process, but it also helps stimulate circulation and create cavitation that destroys bacteria and biofilm.

  • Advantage of Ultrasonic

    Advantage of Ultrasonic

Studies are indicating that the advantages of the application of mechanical debridement utilising ultrasonic waves result in progression from the inflammatory response to a proliferating wound within 4 – 6 treatments. Healthy tissue is not injured by this process and it is shown to be a successful wound bed preparation for skin grafts.

  • Ultrasonic Wound Irrigation System

    Ultrasonic Wound Irrigation System

An advanced mechanical debriding device, utilising ultrasonic waves with a coupling solution such as saline, to remove debris and particulate matter from the wound. This process enables the wound to flow from an inflammatory response to proliferation.
